Days of Rae is a myriad of sound. The band blends dynamic melodies with inventive instrumentation, catchy hooks and thoughtful lyrics to create a sound that is rooted in folk rock with both pop and indie sensibilities infused within.

Their live show is energetic and engaging. Cited for their captivating presence and chemistry, DOR always delivers a set that is as unique and diverse as their craft of song.

Days of Rae is led by Cherie Rae Cobbs on vocals and guitar. Joining her is her husband Shon Cobbs on bass, backing vocals and supporting instrumentation, Ian Carleton on keys, backing vocals and supporting instrumentation and Clint Trotter on percussion and backing vocals.

A recent import from Minneapolis, Days of Rae has tooled an impressive resume in their three short years including the release of two acclaimed albums–Quiet Profanity (2009) and Naked Mache (2011)–maintaining a highly active performance schedule at nearly all of Minnesota’s renowned venues and numerous live in-studio performances at 90.3 KFAI, live television performance on the local NBC affiliate, and airplay on 90.3FM The Current.

After relocating to Denver this past summer, the husband and wife duo at the heart of Days of Rae are now working to accomplish what they had in Minneapolis, here in Colorado. Armed with an enormous catalogue of creative, warm, emotional and intelligent music to share, their live shows promise to be intimate, ambient, and diverse. Free copies of their latest album are given away at every show, as they aim to establish themselves and carve out their own little piece of Colorado’s robust music scene.
